The LM5000 Clamshell is used in the batch assembly of lateral flow tests.
A lateral flow tests is comprised of multiple materials materials that are laminated onto a plastic backing with an adhesive. The LM5000 Clamshell laminator utilizes top and bottom vacuum nests to hold strip materials in place and is operated manually.
Standard or customized nest inserts are available and are easily interchangeable so that multiple assay designs can be laminated.
