Cervical cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women. A well-proven way to prevent cervical cancer is to have testing (screening) to find pre-cancers before they can turn into invasive cancer. It has been shown that high-risk HPV (Human Papillomavirus) types are a major risk factor for development of cervical cancer. There are 15 high risk HPV types (16,18,31,33,35,39,45,51,52,53,56,58,59,66 and 68). Among these 15 high risk HPV types, HPV types 16 and 18 cause approximately 70% of cervical cancers. Therefore, developing a quick, early, and easy way to detect high-risk HPV is critical for women’s healthcare.
We offer the best HPV diagnostics kits on the market: the kits are capable of detecting 15 high-risk HPV types with simultaneous HPV16 and 18 genotyping in a single tube. The assay includes in-tube internal control reaction to safe-guard the quality of the samples to avoid false negativity due the low sample quantity. The kit also provides positive and negative controls to ensure the results are trustworthy. The kits can be performed in any molecular biology lab, any place in the world without special equipment needed.
We have developed 3 types of Multiplex HPV detection kits for different screening and diagnostic purposes:
Kit 1: Multiplex High Risk HPV Real Time Fluorescent Detection with HPV16/18 Genotyping.
This kit can detect all 15 high risk HPV genotypes in single tube and simultaneously genotype HPV16 and HPV18 by real time fluorescence detection. It requires fluorescence real time PCR equipment with FAM/HEX/ROX/CY5 channels to perform the assay. This kit performs essentially the same function as Roche’s Cobas HPV assay but offers simpler, faster and cheaper HPV assays to the customers.
Kit 2: Multiplex High Risk HPV Real Time Fluorescent Detection.
This kit can also detect all 15 high risk HPV genotypes in single tube by real time fluorescence detection. Comparing to Kit 1, it won’t offer any genotyping information for detected high risk HPV in the samples. It requires fluorescence real time PCR equipment with FAM and HEX channels to perform the assay. This kit provides customers who don’t have 4-channel fluorescence PCR machine an alternative choice for HPV detection with the same simple, fast and money saving features.
Kit 3: Multiplex High Risk HPV Colorimetric Detection.
This kit can detect all 15 high risk HPV genotypes in two tubes (one tube for HPV and the other tube for internal control). This kit performs essentially the same function as Kit 2 without the need for fluorescence PCR equipment.
